There have been some amazing shots entered in the Digital Camera Photographer of the Year competition during the past few weeks – if you haven't got involved yet, what's stopping you? This is your chance to show the world your work, get constructive feedback from fellow photographers and be in with a chance of winning a great prize.

Eligibility: amateur and professional photographers of all nationalities who are over 18 years of age
Entry deadline: 5:00pm GMT, Tuesday 30th September 2008

There are some great prizes up for grabs. Each category winner gets £1,000, plus 1 year's subscription to Digital Camera and 1 year's membership to the Royal Photographic Society.
